For documents that must retain selectable text, consider the output format carefully: image-based compression, scans and redaction create pages from pictures. Keep your original file and review the downloaded copy before sending it to someone else.
How files are handled
Available PDF tools run in your browser, so the files you select are not uploaded for processing by these tools. Your browser creates the output for you to download. Avoid closing the tab until the operation finishes, especially with large files.
