About Word to PDF
Word to PDF converts a DOCX document into a PDF you can share with anyone, without the recipient needing Word. The document is read and laid out on A4 pages directly in your browser, so it is never uploaded to a server.
How to use Word to PDF
- Select a .docx file from your device.
- Select Convert to PDF.
- Check the downloaded PDF for page breaks, tables and images.
What to check
Text, headings, bold and italic, lists, tables and embedded images are carried over. The layout is rebuilt from the document's content, so fonts, spacing and page breaks can differ from Word itself. For pixel-exact results with complex layouts, exporting from Word is still the most faithful option. Combine the result with other files using Merge PDF.
Limitations
Only .docx is supported — save older .doc files as .docx first. Headers, footers, text boxes and tracked changes are not reproduced, and pages are stored as images so text is not selectable.
