About Watermark
Apply a text watermark across every page of a PDF. Choose wording, size, opacity, color and whether it appears diagonally, centered or near the bottom. Common uses include marking drafts, labeling copies as confidential or adding a company name before distribution.
How to use Watermark
- Choose a PDF and type the watermark text.
- Set its placement, font size, transparency and color.
- Select Add watermark to download a new copy.
What to check
Use a lighter watermark when the content below must stay legible. Check several pages in the saved PDF, especially pages with dark backgrounds or dense text. A diagonal, semi-transparent watermark is the hardest to crop out while remaining readable over content.
Limitations
Only text watermarks are supported. A watermark is a visual label, not access control or a substitute for a password.

Does a watermark protect my document?
No. It is a visible label only. Anyone can still open, copy or print the file unless it is also encrypted.
Can I use a logo or image as a watermark?
Not currently. The tool places text watermarks with adjustable size, color and transparency.
Will the watermark appear on every page?
Yes. It is applied to all pages of the document in the position you choose.
